Was gonna save this for Christmas eve.....

But I just watched it again, and it brought me to tears.......so I had to share now....

Celine Dion...Oh Holy Night...

Best wishes to you all from the Kittyman and his brood in this fine season......

Noel indeed.

This is most wonderful.......hope you enjoy.

Ok folks.. Im going to post a Norwegian Christmas song. It was made
about 20 years ago.. and the first time it was ever sung at my
homeplace, it was my
sister and I who sang it on a community christmas-gathering ;-)) I have always
found it beautiful. Im sorry you dont understand the lyrics.. and i dont know
if this song has been recorded totally in english.. But i hope you enjoy it
anyway. ;-) - A star is shining tonight -

En stjerne skinner i natt - Oslo Gospel Choir

The video that goes along with it is, as you can see of different "Stavkirker" .. Stave Churches.
In the Middle age it was probably over 1000 stave churches in Norway. Some people mean there were over 2000 of them. Most of them disappeard between 1350 and 1650, probably because of changed needs after the Black Death and the reformation. In 1650 there were about 270 stave churches left, and in the next hundred years another 136 got lost. Today there is only left 28 of them in Norway. And as you can read for yourself in the link, One in Sweeden, and One Norwegian stave church relocated and re-built in 1842 in Germany ( now Poland). Well.. thats the history lesson for today.. ;-))

Happy Christmas ;-)

One of my favourite Christmas Songs. It brought me out in goose bumps the first time I heard it and nearly 20 years on still does.
