I have heard the speculation from at least a dozen people that they think if Obama wins, he will be assasinated.

Point of clarification: I am voting for Obama. I do not support this idea nor am I encouraging it. This is just speculation I am hearing from within the groups I associate with. There are too many wingnuts out there who simply will not accept an African-American in the Presidency.

Obama has at least two strikes against him that vilify him toward certain individuals and groups. He's a mulatto and his father was once a Muslim. A possible assassination attempt if he takes office is a real possiblity. (Crunch the numbers)

i second that

...the second one (about practicing martial law tactics), happened on Clinton's watch. Bush didn't take office until January 2001.

Why people say that politicians from both parties are two heads but the same coin. More will come with Obama I'm sure.
