Yes, I believe it was. We spent most of the day driving around Yosemite before stopping the night at Lee Vining to the East of Yosemite.

If you go up there again. Book a room in June Lake. It is just about 5 miles south of the entrance and you will find some great photo opps there as well. Also there is a restaurant/pub there that has some very good food. it is on the south side of the lake.

Ah, the reason we didn't go South was because the following day we were headed North to Bodie which to us was an amazing experience in itself and certainly worth the extra miles on the journey.

Here you'll see what's left of Bodie. An original ghost town from the late 1800's. Bodie stands today in a state of "arrested decay". So coined by the State of California when they took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park.

So, here's some pics. Apologies that the quality isn't all that, but some were taken by aiming the lens through a crack in a door and hoping for the best!

It was at Bodie that we all (a group of 3 of us traveling together + some other tourists nearby) witnessed a "UFO" that some of you might have seen me report elsewhere.

Actually Those are some very good photos. I was unable to get any shots of the interior when I was there. I did however get some shots of some other areas that I don't see here. I will have to find them and post them here.
