Hi all. The previous thread on this topic derailed a little, I suppose. The problem of old, stale clients suddenly receiving new work has reared it's ugly head again. This box has begun receiving new work again yesterday - presumably coinciding with the re-deployment of the new scheduler. This needs to be fixed rather sooner than later, IMO...

Cheers,

Ron

It appears that there are no results to send out to us. I haven't been able to get any additional work.

Einstein is down for maintenance for the weekend, and a lot of those people have SETI as their backup project which means a lot more WUs are being gobbled up by those (us) people.

If you keep hitting the update button you might just get an Astropulse wu. It would seem thats all its handing out at the moment. You'll be lucky if you do get 'em as I had all of my crunchers try and get wu and only 1 of the 4 got a single AP wu.

I guess we'll have to wait until Matt and the gang give it a kick start.

I wouldn't recommend pounding the Update button... all it does is makes it harder for everyone else to get through to the servers. If everyone does it, it can create a sort of Denial of Service attack.

And the developers fixed the bug late yesterday evening, so it shouldn't get any today. Good!

(but if it does, let us know)
