But is that possible? Yep, it's happened before and was the main reason for the backend processes which were created to clean up the 'Zombie Workunits' (as Matt called them). Typically, it happens when the BOINC Database starts getting overstressed, problems crop up, or the team starts pushing the envelope trying out new stuff.
