I appreciate you prefer to heckle, but sometimes a little detail goes a long way.

Details don't go anywhere when they fall on deaf ears... therefore, I prefer to heckle... ;)

(If you want details, pay me for them... Until then, you get heckles... Unless I'm banned or I stop, then you get nothing... That's capitalism my friend.)

Since you mention 1984 in your signature, here is an Orwell quote:

“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” - George Orwell

Continue heckling...

Well...

Since I've found other places more friendly and realistic to discuss this, I'll leave this thread with a final statement:

No way the 3 towers in NYC fell from fire and plane collisions.

Final answer?

Yes.

PS: And ever trust someone who's job it is too torture "suspected" enemies.

Takes a special sicko for that position.

Uncle says so that's all he knows.

To my eyes, 9/11/01 did not start or stop any trend.

You might want to consider visiting an optometrist... ;)

(09/01 is in blue)

Why do I need an appointment with the eye doctor?

You don't need one.

Same trend here, just a little delayed:

Also the dot com bubble burst. Same tendencies here.

This is simply a theory without proof to back it up.

According to a 2006 poll, 16 percent of American adults believed that the World Trade Center may have been destroyed by controlled demolition, not by the effects of the airplanes. This idea has been rejected by NIST, which concluded that there were no explosives or controlled demolition involved in the collapses of the WTC towers. Controlled demolition is also dismissed in the engineering literature and is pursued mainly as part of larger conspiracy theories about the events of 9/11.

Know what percentage of Americans believe it was an inside job this year?

I have no idea...
Probably not as high a percentage as the percentage of Americans who cannot point to Iraq on a map...

You underestimate the American people on both counts.

You are going to need academic proof; public opinion polls are not proof. Until then, your opinion is simply an unfounded theory.

More ad hom from the person looking for a more friendly place. Nice one MrGray. Can't beat the arguments so beat the people making them instead. How ironic, it was precisely that kind of attack against you that I took objection too a while back, only to see you do the same to me and now Rush.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

And this is important because truth is a popularity contest, right? How does this compare with the percentage of Americans who believed that Saddam was a primary sponsor of Al Queda back in 2003? Or those that believe that evolution is "just a theory" on a par with Intelligent Design? Or that homeopathy is a valid form of medicine?

Do you understand that it doesn't matter how many people believe something utterly false, their believing otherwise doesn't change a thing?

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...
