To quote the most hated Star Wars character of all times, Jar Jar Binks, "Messa thinka we needa more File_Delete tasks."

2.3 million workunits and 4.9 million results waiting to purge is about 4 to 5 times higher than normal and now appears to be the current database bottleneck. Or does the DB purge task take care of that? Either or the results tables is full of files needing removal.

Must be the kitties detaching from the project a few days ago and reattaching........my pending is gonna go wonky now 'cuz I have all new WUs......LOL.

Just had a look at Scarecrow's Graphs & it looks like the Result & Work Unit purge processes have stalled again.
The numbers are making their way skyward.

There's definately something funny going on with the servers (that's funny peculiar, not funny haha).
Along with the occasional Work Unit & Result purging grinding to a halt, the assimilator appears to be having problems as well. And once it finally gets it's act together & clears the backlog, it stops again & the queue starts growing once again.
The Server Status page shows 3 splitters not running, but it's more than keeping up with demand at the moment so that's not a problem (at this time).

Hmmmm.

I'm currently getting HTTP internal server error messages at the moment. Got two machines trying to report in work...

Never surrender and never give up. In the darkest hour there is always hope.
