Yank is pointing out that there is also a suspend/resume toggle on the Tasks tab, the next one along. That would be worth looking at as well - your opening post isn't quite explicit whather BOINC has suspended computation of a Project, or of a Task. ID: 730839 ·

FWIW, the question of how BOINC handles manual rollbacks of the system clock came up in Q&A recently with the change to DST. IIRC, and I'm reading the events here properly, shut down BOINC, make sure the clock is set correctly, and then restart BOINC should get computation to resume. The bottom line was if you have to roll the clock back manually, it's best to shutdown BOINC before doing it or else computation will be suspended for whatever the time period was for the setback. Manually setting the clock forwards and OS initiated automatic changes (like DST to standard time) don't have this effect. <edit> Upgrading BOINC in this case won't help, testing was done on 5.10.45, IIRC Alinator ID: 731159 ·
