I seem to have an almost similar problem (no work packets uploaded). Tasks: 2 tasks ready to report, x and y, z is running @51%. Messages: Finished upload x + Finished upload y Transfers: Blank I would expect x and y to be listed under Transfers and removed or marked as uploaded under Tasks. Also on my account, my credits are 0. Split personality - who, us? |

The Transfer tab shows details in real time when something is actually downloading or uploading. At other times it is empty. All downloads and upload action is logged in the Messages tab. The upload process in BOINC is twofold. 1. it uploads the data you crunched to a place on the server. 2. it reports the task to the science database. As it looks, you may have uploaded, but not reported yet. Reporting of tasks happens: 1) 24 hours after completion (was Connect every X after completion). 2) 24 hours before report is due. 3) Connect every X before report is due. 4) On a trickle up message (CPDN only so far). 5) On a request for more work. 6) On a manual update. (Projects tab, select Seti, click Update) If you still feel there is a problem, please copy the affected messages out of the messages tab and post them here. You can either copy the whole (visible) log, or a portion (using mouse and Shift buttons). Credit is granted after your wingman has returned the tasks in the same way (uploaded and reported). The Validator will then check if both of your results compare; if it does, you get credit granted. If it doesn't, the task is sent out to a 3rd computer to check what that one says of it. |

...Also on my account, my credits are 0. Not anymore! :-) One of your reported tasks got 17 credits. The other one is still pending. That means your wingman hasn't returned the task yet, as mentioned in Jord's post: Credit is granted after your wingman has returned the tasks in the same way (uploaded and reported)... My last communication to you was 32 days ago with no response to my post. Any (all) help appreciated. |

29/05/2008 10:30:03 PM||Suspending computation - user is active This makes it look like you have BIONC set to nut run when you are using the keyboard or mouse. Try changing this setting to allow BOINC to run even when you are active. It might be that you are not actually completing much work. BOINC WIKI |
