Stained glass, building computers, saving cats and being a bum.

I used to be a cruncher like you, then I took an arrow to the knee.

Drowning night crawlers, or pretty much anything else outdoors that's not anywhere near computers, pagers, or cell phones

I have to work on-call and couldn't live without my pager. I hate being woken by the phone. At least with a pager you get a chance to wake up before having to call in.

@ Eric . . .

< i see they started to build the observatory in 1949 - i was born October 29 1949 . . .

mi interest in Astronomy started very young actually - takin' pictures of Saturn and closeups of the moon by the time i was 15 yrs old - ground mi own lenses and mirror blanks - made it up to 8 inch Relectors - and designed mi own equatorial mounts too . . .

took note from your pages:

On September 8, 1949, the Aldrich Astronomical Society filed an application to become a corporation in the state of Massachusetts. The purpose of the corporation, to be known as the Aldrich Astronomical Society, Incorporated

. . . all just BEFORE i was born - great family & ties Sir!
