And this one has me laughing with tears in me eyes.....The Marvelous Toy......life was so simple then.......

My dad used to sing this one to me when I was a kid, was one of the few I really remember... Most of the songs he played I later would team up with him on around campfires or out on the old back porch, sadly this wasn't one I ever played with him, seems made for it. Good memory, thanks Mark.

Yeah, Flyleaf's one of my favs of the newer stuff, for sure. The singer, Lacey Mosley, is pretty cute, too, which helps a lot :)

Wishbone Ash - Sometime World

I met a man who felt the same way,
That the world had passed him by.
Told me all his troubles,
That the world had made him cry.

Life had kept him waiting,
Regretting his pain inside.
Had to feel underrated,
And hated, besides.

Life had kept him waiting,
Regretting his shame inside.
Had to feel underrated,
And hated, besides.

Sometime world, pass me by again,
Carry you, carry me, away.

Lifeson isn't the flashiest...but he is very solid and Geddy and Neil make up for what Alex lacks.

Thanks to msattler in some other thread, I wanted to hear and see White Rabbit again:

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit

The drum, specially in the beginning of the song, resembles a lot the rhythm in Ravel's Boléro. Are there any drummers here who can tell if the rhythm in White Rabbit is this?

Here is Ravel's Boléro with the Berliner Philharmonics directed by Daniel Barenboim:

Pt. 1 Pt. 2

I wanted to find it directed by Celibidache or Karajan, but I couldn't find any of good quality. So Barenboim it is...
