Message 701247 - Posted: 18 Jan 2008, 20:41:57 UTC - in response to Message 701246.

On 21 December, 2007 a light went out.

What else can I say...I'm going to miss him.

That is so sad, no more day trips to Boulogne, I will try and find some photos..

This comes as very sad news. A dedicated cruncher to many projects, and a damn nice guy. He is gonna be missed dearly. Rest in Peace my friend, we will never forget you buddy.

Oh Hell! That is very sad news.

Sheila and I were privileged to meet with him, when Laughingboy brought him down last summer (when it rained and flooded). We had a good bar meal, several pints of Timmy Taylors Landlord and a long chat, before they returned to the Manchester area.

He was a hell of a companion, and we spent many hours on Skype. But this fell away since his heart problems, and now I know why. This was his completing chapter.

I am sorry he has gone, and it is right he will be missed. Dennis Peters was one who knew his mind, was honest and gave politically correct fools what they deserved.

He will be missed by us, this side of the pond

RIP Dennis, my lad ... so young as well!

It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues
