Has anyone looked at their account page??? Genereal prefs are now "computing prefs", Seti prefs are still that but now last in the list, Message board prefs are now "Community preferences". Look at "computing prefs" and try the "switch view" link. |

(Edited re-post to remove reference to another post that was modded out.) Has not Astro just renamed himself to "none"? Also, I thought he gave some very good examples that have stirred a good response to tidy-up the moderation system a little. Hopefully, the later comments for PM -> email and including a clear response link for PM-ing against modding will be taken up also. So, a brief flurry of activity with hopefully a positive improvement. I'm still giggling at spiking the cat lovers! Excellent jump into a furry area!! :-) (Also interesting for the split for those who thought it innocent humour and those considering it as non-humour.) Regards, Martin Special note: This post in no way condones spiking in any way. See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Recently a couple times I accidentally bumped the wrong key on my keyboard and erased what I had written for a message - after having spent fifteen minutes writing it. I decided not to rewrite the message. I hope these "improvements" are not causing this. |

Why does this thread not make much sense ? Because the original author has been banished. |

Why does this thread not make much sense ? Thanks. If you want to try to make sense of any threads by banished posters you can still view their posts at their posting history page. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_user_posts.php?userid= You will need to edit the URL to add the ID of the banished poster. Why does this thread not make much sense ? However, any posts that have been 'hidden' remain hidden for everyone except the original poster. ... So you'll still get the "modded" story... Why does this thread not make much sense ? I don't want to get too far off topic, so I will send you a reply by PM. Keith. |
