What are your favourite computing websites?

What websites do you visit to find out stuff and get answers to computing problems?

What computing websites have good news and the latest stuff?

I would like to save some links that have good info and news!

John.

I usually prefer ArsTechnica.com or AnandTech.com. It's been a while, but I also like the rumor site TheRegister.co.uk.

A great place for n00bs to get answers to common Windows problems is Annoyances.org. It's one of the places I like to spread my expertise around and help people for free.

http://www.afterdawn.com is quite good, also http://www.theinquirer.net.

http://whatis.techtarget.com is very useful too.

There are probably lots of niche websites, covering a tiny fraction of the topical area of the broad scope ones, but offering a lot of information and sometimes lively and helpful discussion on a narrow topic.

For one somewhat idiosyncratic example, consider:

http://www.badcaps.net/forum/

where the topic of deterioration in electrolytic capacitors is endlessly, but usefully discussed.

Not a problem, I've got quite a few more, In Fact I have 73 computer related websites and that doesn't include about 77 or forums in My Bookmarks, Yep I get around and I've probably only barely scratched the surface too.
