It's a wonderful song. My parents were partisans in WWII, blowing up railways, bridges, eating snakes, hiding in bunkers under haystacks. They laughed about it later, but it was a terrible, fearful time. |

How many people who wrote, sang, or produced, these "protest" songs, mainly from the 60's/70/s, actually believed what they were doing? I reckon 0.001%. How much commercial product do you reckon Baez has produced? Aside from the fact that I own about her first 20 albums (that's right, albums, remember those shiny black thingys?} I don't remember her setting any Billboard records lately.
