Our members with clocked quads seem to be embracing 2.4V, just wish we had enough work to keep the RAC climbing....

I have to say that it's not immediately obvious over at www.lunatics.at that there's a 2.4 release; the sidebar on the right has a list of apps that stops at 2.2.

There's no news item near the top saying they're out, just that they're coming.

Then, when you go to the downloads page, it's still confusing - the top entry says

32-Bit Windows Rev-2.4 without graphics (current) - Version: 2.2B 'Noo? No, Ni!' Anything with Intel in its name will ONLY run on Intel chips!
ie, 2.4 and 2.2b coexist in the description. The first time I read about 2.4, I visited the site and then left as I thought it must be unavailable to the general public at that time.

While I have the utmost respect and gratitude to the KWSN optimization team (and everyone associated with), it could be made a bit easier for one to realise that there has been an update, and to be able to grab it easily.

While browsing my recent results I also ran into a anonymous host running BOINC 5.5.0 and a R-1.2 Chicken app (application version 5.15).

Needless to say this one was claiming more than it should at this moment.
I think some just install and after that don't think it's handy to look if there are updates availible...

;-)

Ooohhhh....Vintage Chicken.

I think this one must be cooked for a couple off hours before it is safe to eat it...

LOL

Chicken is a dish best served fresh.

What no Joker Chow? ;)

Eggs and Sausage, Joker style. ;) scrambled. :D LOL

Simon has been away from his site for awhile, so some updates are behind schedule. That's why crunch3r has the apps for download on his mirror site.
