I have found that running one over with a lawnmower is pretty effective. :-)

from silent stone,

Much easier:

Home robot help

20 seconds one handed!

Or 3 years & 114 seconds!!

2 seconds by a nose!

OK, so you might need an axe to reprogram this monster cube:

20 x 20 cube

All good fun!

Cheers,
Martin

The same year I wrote to Carl Sagan asking him to come talk to our gifted and talented class (heck, it would have only been a 30 mile trip for him), I also sent in to a company that published a Rubik's Cube solution manual some shortcuts that could be used. Of course, Dr. Sagan never came to talk to us and my shortcuts never got published. But some say it was pretty ballsy for an 8th grader. LOL.

The BBC reports an improved ultimate solution to Rubik's cube.

I always preferred the "smallest description" type of solution to a more complicated one with fewer moves, but the 26-move solution is I imagine way beyond the repeated action of a few simple operations.

The core issue: beauty (or simplicity or efficiency) in the description versus efficiency in the number of moves.

I never got more than 4 sides done..but I haven't picked one up for years, the world is full of things to get you really annoyed for no apparent reason without picking up a Rubik's cube. :)

Perhaps there is a different origin for these cubes:

LOL!
Season 2. I believe the episode was "Q Who?" Immediately followed the episode where Data was a "pen pal" with some little orange girl from a pre-warp technology planet.
