Message 641038 - Posted: 14 Sep 2007, 9:30:22 UTC - in response to Message 641023.

Guys, I've just been spending some time looking at some of the old posts and pics from Beethoven's I-XII. It was very soothing, calms the nerves, cheers you up.

Heck, we've sure had some fun around here! LOL

I have an idea...

Even though we've seen this stuff before, maybe we should all look in our saved threads and pull out some of the fun pics and a few quotes and get them back up on the boards for some cheerful fun. Maybe that will pick the forums up a bit. And we have some new people around who've never seen this material.

I thought I'd suggest it. Dig into the closet and see what you can find. :)

I got a whole closet full of this stuff. Maybe a new thread would be in order.

OK, you, or Beets can start a new thread. One more, or less, this should not be a problem. LOL

Great! I'm glad you think it's worth a try. :)

It's 6:00 a.m. here, I need some breakfast and have to go out for cigarettes. But I will start posting some old material on Beethoven's here, and maybe the guys in Rocky's will do the same. Funny pics, all that.

Well, i think, i am smoking to much cigarettes and tomorrow, we will have in my favorite restaurant the smokers night. Big cigars, heavy red wine and meat with a dark sauce. Mhhhhhhh.......

Nice chatting with you this morning. :)

Yes, this is how it works. Hope, you know, what i mean and i enjoy this chat as well. ;-)))))

Good Morning, everyone!

We're having the Full Scottish Breakfast today with an assortment of cereals, fruit, jams, jellies and marmalades. Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice with that, and for dessert, some Fresh Hot Cross Buns.

Enjoy!

I'm OK there mate. Just had not a good start to the day, and since then feeling sorry for a friend, plus feeling sorry for someone else. A bit cryptic but those that know know. Yup could do with a drop of something. Meant to go over the pub lunchtime bit other things cropped up.

Cheers :-)))))

Australian Rum?! This is something new for me. Is it a dark rum, like Pusser's Navy?

Isn't there some historical use for certain molds on fruit skins?

Hmm. Maybe all hope isn't lost just yet. :-P

That's right Robert, pennicillin is in that stuff (bread mold, too) and it prevents polio and other bad bacteria.

But you're right. Let's have some fresh fruit here, for our fruit lovers.

Yeah. I was quite poor as a child and lived in a shanty town. One day the U.N. doctors came in to give out innoculations. My shabby mother only had enough money to vaccinate me against polio.

I never got the polio.

I got the rickets instead. Damn these rickets!

I had quite a successful bull riding career in my younger days though!

Leave me be with my lack of vitamin D!
