Nope; not crazy, however, definitely in the minority. I've held the same ideals for decades... However; after being kicked in the teeth, (figuratively), for decades - I find it difficult to near impossible to maintain those ideals and beliefs... Especially with my present life issues; physical and emotional, going on right now. However; if you can keep it up and hold to those ideals, then more power to you. What WOULD Jesus do? At present; the question above has given me a flashback to the old Environmental Friendly commercials with the Native American in a boat. He paddles around looking at what man has done to the world. The camera pans around at all the pollution, (worse now than when the commercial was made), then the camera zooms in for a closeup on the Native American's face... A single tear drips from his eye... I believe that Jesus too would first react with the single tear; then, as prophecy proclaims in Revelations, the 7Th Seal would be broken... Summarizing, the world ends in horrible catastrophe.
