My sons little war.

Who's winning? ;)

More than likely his side.

Unless it like the movie Independence Day. In that case, first, the good guys get whooped really bad, then, somehow some ne-er-do-well but smart guy sweeps in and saves the day.

I was in Europe around the time that I played with toy soldiers. Most boys there played with Medieval Knights tin soldiers with large papier-mache castles complete with drawbridges. So, the main scenario was a siege, with some brave knights coming out from the castle to joust with the beseigers.

Happy times!

Cool! I only had the regular cheap plastic solders. Most of them died horrible deaths with my dads lighter fluid. Some with firecrackers. Of course, several had arm, leg and head amputations done with scissors. Now that I think about it, that's probably why I never saved any of them. LOL!

Ouch!

Come to think of it, isn't that the plot of "Top Gun" too? I wonder what Misfit has to say about this. :)

He's turning 14 in a couple months. My daughter is almost 12. She's still happy playing with her dolls, not interested in yucky boys yet.

Edit: I think she's not interested in boys yet! I could be wrong about that.. :/

She probably is. Probably she likes boys a few years older than her.
I don't even want to think about all the girls around that age , or 13, or 14, who had crushes on me when I was a camp counselor.

I've never watched all of Top Gun. Never had an interest. But it was also the plot of Deep Impact and The Day After Tomorrow (both mediocre), except natural disasters = bad guys in those movies.

Just from experience I'd say you could be mostly wrong about that.

Darn, change the thread title and it's not fun, anymore!
And I thought Rushmas was so well-loved people would appreciate a summer solstice version. So much for thinking! :)

Actually, he thinks he is too big to ride on the back of the bike with dad (worried about his cool points for sure hehe).

That's ok, he still rides on the back with Dad, just nobody ever knows....LOL

And I thought Rushmas was so well-loved

Love can't be bought at any price, only obedience which eventually leads to resentment which ultimately leads to anger can be bought...

We don't love them, we simply put up with them because they pay us to...

It's a 'capitalist' thing... ;)
It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . .

Thanks Sarge!

I decided she's not allowed to date boys until after college. Problem solved...I wish it was that simple.

I doubt it will be that simple.
