When you join SETI@home, the electronic transaction creates radio waves which travel outward at the speed of light. They're too faint to be detected at any significant distance, but they do exist.

At about 4 years and 4 months those waves reach the triple star system Alpha Centauri, around 6 years they reach Barnard's star, and at 7 years and 10 months they reach Wolf 359.

I'll be able to join the Wolf 359 club in about 3 months.

Ok, the Borg collective was at Wolf 359 in StarTrek. Of course they really didn't anything but chewed up ships of course.

Edit: Well at 3 years and 6 months(So far), I'll get there in about 4 years and 4 months or so.

I think it was 39 starships and around 11,000 people. And this was from one Borg cube. In SFC III I can take one out with just one starship (just have to use the right tactics).

Never surrender and never give up. In the darkest hour there is always hope.

I believe that I have joined the Wolf 359 club. I am too lazy to look it up, what is the next one out?

You almost certainly have; I probably have as well.

I am too lazy to look it up, what is the next one out?

When you join SETI@home, the electronic transaction creates radio waves which travel outward at the speed of light. They're too faint to be detected at any significant distance, but they do exist.

At about 4 years and 4 months those waves reach the triple star system Alpha Centauri, around 6 years they reach Barnard's star, and at 7 years and 10 months they reach Wolf 359.

I'll be able to join the Wolf 359 club in about 3 months.

Remember this thread from a few months ago. I joined this club recently, not too long before I get to the 8 year club!
