* I mean no insult to Robert or Rush. Robert and I have been through the subject of philosophy on a few occasions, and he knows my viewpoint on things. Nothing that I have said here is meant to be a personal slight. *

He also knows that you are often inconsistent and have no real basis for what you believe.

Well...what Robert knows is what he knows. What he may not have pointed out to you is how he could never explain exactly WHY I am so wrong.

I tried many times to get him to explain it to me, and he never could.

Of course, you, having never spoken to me anywhere but here, would have no real idea how " inconsistant " I am. Nor would you have any real idea what I do and don't believe.

As a matter of fact, Robert has no real idea what I believe and what I base it on either. So he wouldn't really know wether I am " inconsistant " or not.

Of course I have explained this to you in numerous postings that consisted of numerous paragraphs over the past year or two. The main thing I've noticed is that I can't quite figure out what exactly it is you believe in.....it seems everything. I'm not quite sure. I don't know how to use reason and understand how people believe in self contradictory ideas at the same time. I'll have to improve upon that skill set.

No Robert. All those " numerous paragraphs " that you posted " explaining it " to me were just a whole bunch of words put together that said basically nothing.

You don't know what I believe in because when you asked me to tell you, I told you to be more specific. I don't believe in " everything ". You just haven't bothered to ask me the proper questions. When you failed to do that you just proclaimed me to be " irrational ". If that's the way you want to see it, that's fine.

I know what I do and don't believe. Wether you can " figure out " what those things are or not is entirely up to you. C'mon, try using reason rather than just spouting words at me and trying to convince me that I am completely wrong in all things.
