If you notice its direction (tip pointed towards bottom left corner direction: heel towards top right corner direction), you will see that the "other" prints would be under the rover and covered up.

OK, assuming I believe it's a footprint, then I would have to interpret it as running away from the lander. Perhaps it was gunna drop on the martian.
