Message 440341 - Posted: 20 Oct 2006, 6:22:48 UTC - in response to Message 440323.

And NEVER hire anybody with a fish on their bumper !

Nothing like some good old fashioned 'stereotyping'... ;)

Which, of course, is exactly what you do when you speak of the "rich" as you do.

If you understand why overly large generalizations about people with fish on their bumpers fail, you can understand why your silly mindless stereotyping about the rich, et cetera, fails as well.

Rush, mate...

I hesitate to speak on the subject of religion, but I have noticed how many religions seem to exist wholly and solely to rob their followers blind. I once belonged to one such sect, but my eyes opened in time.

Of course, it is foolish to make sweeping generalisations on ANY subject, and I agree with you there. However, I fell into that sect as the result of watching robbers at work in the Catholic church. (Christ only once lost his temper: as the result of seeing money lenders in the temple)

Nowadays, I follow my own view of God, the Universe and Everything.

Apropos religious hatred: Did you know the Koran quotes Mohammed as saying Christianity is "a religion worth preserving"?

All right, this is totally un acceptable ! Rush is starting to agree with me and support me. This cant be. I had thought my therapy was complete, but apparently not. I guess its back to the nutrition cups for me. Everybody mocked Rush, until he showed you the light. All hail Rush ! Give Rush the button !

Don't you think this woman's protest about not being able to go topless is all going a bit over the top(less)...if you'll pardon the pun? lol.

If men can go topless why cant women?
People have a hissy fit if a woman brestfeeds in public....
But yet a sweaty male can walk down the street...no problems...

A sweaty male ? So men sweat and women....what ? Glisten ?....Glow ? Take your wallet and go to the snack bar ? And come back with Raoul the life guard ?

HORSES sweat,
Gentlemen perspire,
Ladies GLOW! :)

The one I learned back in English classes were:

Animals sweat,
Men perspire,
A lady feels a little warm!

Hi LGM, I saw you made a comment about your son somewhere, many days ago, so, how is he, the little Houdini? :-)

Tonight on Coast to Coast AM airing at 1am EST, 10pm PST…
Host: George Noory

...

Funny, when I got mail about the new Foamy cartoon yesterday, Jonathan Ian Mathers said in it, that he was thinking of ditching the links and create a blog instead, so I took a look on his links, as I never have bothered before. And right there, under "Waste Your Time" the link to Coast to Coast AM is, so he apparently also thinks it's a cool program to listen to. :-D

EDIT: Oops, I better take the link away to the Foamy toon... :-(

Now now Lester, you can't go running to Rush everytime you get called a cockroach. It's not your right to be called a cockroach, it's your choice.

Rush thinks we are all only pixies on a screen. He told me so last time I was upset about someone calling me names.

I think I have a notebook somewhere where I have jotted down the wisdoms of Rush.

So don't be upset Lester. We are all just pixies on a screen.

That's pixels, pixies, Pixels.

In reality you're all just blisters in the sun, or maybe spirits in the material world.

Cordially,

I hear and understand. Why cant the weak ones see the clarity you offer ? Should we help them and form an awareness group ? ( OK, Cult ) Think of all the souls (money) we can gather. Why not ? It's OUR turn to loot (save) the weak !

But I digress... Unless of course, you would like to continue this discussion over in the religious thread... ;)

Jeffrey, I don't see that as a digression!
It's exactly the stuff I was thinking of when I made my post :)
Good to know there are people around who can make informed statements.

But... as I stated in my post... I am loathe to make statements about religion, for reasons I shall keep to myself. Hence, Thou shalt ne'er locateth me in the religious thread!

The New South Rugby League team is nicknamed "The Cockroaches"

Apparently, it's NOT an insult, which is no bad thing, if you could see the size of those blokes! ;)

By the way, the team that calls NSW Cockroaches is from Queensland, and the are proud to be called "Cane Toads".

Hi LGM, I saw you made a comment about your son somewhere, many days ago, so, how is he, the little Houdini? :-)

G'Day Fuzzy. The thread's been quiet in your absence.
Our litle fella has quietened down since we got him into day care (kindy) for a couple of days a week.

Having said that, he woke us up at 3:00 a.m. today, with a temperature of 38 degs C (100.4 F) Poor little beggar has been feeling rough all day. He didn't even smile when I sang him his favourite songs :(

G'day LGM.

Yes, having him in daycare will burn a lot of his energy, and with this also give you some quiet evenings. ;-D

Poor little guy, luckily a lot of these kid-flu's don't last so long, so I'm sure he'll soon be on his feet again.
