Hi, I have recently installed bionc 5.4.9 and it is giving me time around 26 hours to complete a seti WU. I did a reformat of the system recently and before with my old set up I had times aroung 4.5 hours. I wish I had kept my old set up!!! Are there any links to seti optimised clients for my duron processor. Hope you can help milo.

Seti Enhanced results do take a long time. They not only vary in deadline, but also in crunch time. It depends on the Angle Range the result was "shot" at how long it can take. For approximate times, check here.

And last I checked, no one has got a new optimized client yet after Crunch3r left. But do look in the Number Crunching forum for TMR's thread.

thanks for the speedy reply. I think I was getting confused with seti clasic and enhanced, not realising there was a difference in how long it would take. Good to know anyway. I will waiot and see if an optimised client comes up thanks again, milo.

OK I most likely messed this all up... sorry ..

WHen I signed up for BOINC ... I had very fast results... Faster than what I had on the older system... old time was about 8 hrs a unit.. When I started BOINC... times went down to 4 -6 hrs a unit... Now i am dealing with 20 + hours for a unit...

And yes, I clean & refresh and Scan et al the Pce several times a day ...

Not sure I can find my way back here... so replies can be made to KL.DULLY@verizon.net
