Hello, I've got this problem: I have an old seti@home account with an email that is not valid anymore.

I managed to dig some old s@h files from an old backup, and was able to get the old s@h password, however when I try changing the e-mail from the http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_email_form.php form, I get the following error:

"Bad password for Classic account".

Is there anything else I might try? I had quite some hours in that account...

Sorry for putting the title wrong. It should have been "can't change old account's e-mail" :P

Don't fill in the middle section of the form. Just the old mail addy in the top section and then the bottom section.

You still have access to the Seti Classic Website, even if Classic crunching has stopped. Maybe you can find out there. BTW: No use to change anything in Classic any more, AFAIK.

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I get "Unknown name/password" in the Seti Classic Website. Is there anything else I might try?
