Name here is Mike Bayless, my SETI participation has been low this year. however as I'm trying to get back on track I find that BONIC is the new format. Anyway, I may have done some things wrong or in the wrong order during my conversion. I think the root cause of my problem is that I tried to change my e-mail addy from mbayless@argolink.net too: kb5sfr@argolink.net. I got all intications that this did indeed happen. Then as I tried to load the BONIC and access my account, it keeps telling me that the e-mail address in not valid. I try both and nither work. As luck would have it, I can get into some of the account by using the long account key that I got. However with out the correct e-mail address, I am unable to add my old classic account info to my BONIC account. It just keeps telling me my request cannot be honored because their is no record of my e-mail address I may not have many units, "200 or 300, but I have about 20,000 hours of pc time and 4 or 5 years with SETI. Anyway, I think most of my problems can be solved if I can get the kb5sfr@argolink.net address to work as my correct address. Any help will be appreaciated and shortly after the first of the year, I'll have a faster pc to work with. Thanks in advance, Mike Bayless |

Mike, if you go to this form, it should show your mail addy under which you are actually logged. You have already successfully linked your BOINC account to your Classic account. Go to 'your account' and see your Classic stats there. Yes, it's 'as of March 2005' but it will soon be updated. BTW, it's B O I N C, not BONIC. :-)= Greybeard All about BOINC: BOINC-Wiki (by Paul D. Mike, if you go to this form, it should show your mail addy under which you are actually logged. Mr. Barbarossa, thank you very much for your help. The link did indeed let me change the address. In the past I tried what I thought was that link and did not get any where. Anyway thank you again. During the next few weeks, I will go through the Q&As to get more aquainted with the new, "stand corrected" BOINC. Thanks again Mike Bayless |
