You finally managed to upload the three finished work units from my home computer. I was surprised to find that manyhours [more than 10] after the upload I still do not have an credit for those units or any Statistics unter that tab. I was also usrprised to find that some one named Ross, from Bulgaria, showed up under the Computers display on my BOIC manager. Can you explain??? |

Do you have a link to this, please? You do know that each work unit is sent out to 3 to 4 computers, that 3 of them have to return the unit to form a quorum? And that you can look up how others have crunched the unit, thereby seeing their names? Oh, to upload the unit alone isn't enough. You also have to report it. I looked up your computer(s) and see that either you have 4 durons, or you have one and need to merge them all. (Your Account, go to "Computers on this account - View computers", click the top one, scroll down to Merge this host, select all others, hit the Merge button.) I see one unit having been sent the 9th of December. You say you finished it? Did you upload it and report it? Uploading through BOINC is a two way thing: First you upload the data, then you report the unit back to the database. Check in your BOINC Manager (that is the GUI, if you doubleclick on the B in your system tray), Work tab. The unit is probably shown as "Ready to report". Go to the Projects tab, press once on the Seti@Home project, press the Update button. |

The validators are still off, and probably will be for a couple more days. No one is getting credit until they get turned back on. They are trying to get in all the overdue results before turning them on. ![]() My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |
