I completed the new boinc 5.2.13 software download. Now I can not get it to load the seti@home project, it says it failed. I tried the weatherclimate project, but did not get any work to do. What do I try next ? (Inspiron 1200 windows xp) |

No wonder at Seti, as the site has heavy problems ATM. With weatherclimate you mean climateprediction, I guess. Did you try to attach with the account key from Seti? This wouldn't work. Every project has its own account keys, so you have to registrate first and receive the account mail from CPDN. If you did so and received no work, you possibly will have to look up in 'general preferences' if you free enoough space for it. CPDN sends you VERY big and long lasting WUs. :-)= Greybeard All about BOINC: BOINC-Wiki (by Paul D. Buck) ![]() |

Hi SuSie, The front page says they have downloads turned OFF, until they're on you won't be able to attach, I can't say anything about CPDN as they're a different project, and I don't run them. Try Protein Predictor at home, those wus are short and a perfect back up project, IMO. ![]() |
