K3UZZ, a setting in you preferences is keeping your computer from continuing to work on another WU while the other one tries to upload. All my computers keep working no matter what else is happening with the other WU's.

The next wu in line should begin processing regardless of the upload status of the prior wu. In your log, you should have a line indicating that the wu is finished, then the very next line should indicate that the next wu is starting, then a line indicating that the finished wu is being uploaded.

Being unable to upload should have no effect at all on continuing to process the remaining wu's in your queue.

I think this comment from the front page sums it up nicely...

"Until it is online we'll be continuing these rolling blackout style server outages."

They're basically saying, expect some problems, we don't know when. Seems to cover all the bases don't you think. ;-)
