Bottom line...I love SETI, but the new graphics make me seriously sea sick. Isn't there some way to let the old user keep the old graphics without all the funky 3-D, wiggly, wavy action!??!

Who says you have to look at them? ;)
It's a screensaver... not a person saver. :)

Then again, have you tried the Classic Emulation? Make sure that after you changed everything, saved it and updated BOINC that you exit Boinc and restart it.

Being one of those people who stares at my screen saver whilst thinking, I don't like getting sea sick in the process. I've gotten in the habit of staring at my classic SETI when working and the new one has made a train wreck of my thinking abilities. (I work with statistics and GIS, which means I spend a LOT of time at the computer)....I'm sure I'll live and I'm all about the science...but I'm not willing to barf over it. Thanks for the tip on how to get it more 'classic' looking. If that doesn't work I'll have to switch to a different screen saver and only let BOINC run when I'm out of the office.
ciao
