What's this got to do with Seti Science or any other science? Just wondering...please educate me.

Most likely, people want to see the page for verification that BOINC's not BOINKED in regards to return of the data. I'm getting a little curious myself, since my numbers haven't updated in over a day, despite crunching a dozen units on three machines. And I know about the fact that 3 people have to return the result, and it could just be luck of the draw.

Whether or not the client is working has *everything* to do with the science of SETI@home.

Another credit question....

I've noticed my BOINC app never says anything about total or average credits on the Projects tab. Always reads 0.00, but if I go to the website, I can see my total and average credits on my account screen. Is this just an app glitch? Is anyone else seeing their results?

Thanks,
Dave

If the servers are down, the GUI looses it's mind and won't show your totals.

I don't know about the GUI's mind, but all these problems are making me lose my mind. What a mess this has turned into since it was moved over to BOINC.

I hope things improve soon so we can get down to some serious data crunchin'.

It's not BOINC. Beta ran fairly smoothly. There were some outages, but nothing like we've seen after it went "live".

Come on guys lets be patient with the SETI@HOME team. Its a reserch project after all. Patience is a requirement in science - especially as we are looking for a signal in a universe! (needle in a haystack?)

Just set up BOINC and let it run. When there is work to do your system will do it and you will get the credit.
