I processed several data sets with the older version and no credits appear on BOINC. Same story for the data processed recently with BOINC ...no F** credits

Unlike Classic SETI, BOINC validates the results before it gives credit, be paitient, credit will appear.
As for your classic WUs (which i assume is what you meant by "the older version"), the two sets of results are not linked, this is what is shown for your account:
SETI@home classic workunits
as of 15 March 2005 10
SETI@home classic CPU time
as of 15 March 2005 513 hours
When classic finally bites the dust a new update will happen and it will show everything you've done.
