They've got to have identical descriptions to merge them. The two 4400's have different operating systems, so they can't be merged. All you can do is delete them, and only when there are no results still showing. The 4400 with Windows 2003 can be deleted, but the 3200 has a stray result from back in August that hasn't been cleared yet, so can't be.

Is my total credit the sum of all the work done then ?
To not be able to combine all past PC's or work done means records need to be kept for all PC's by Seti. In this respect why not just log the user and ignore individual PC's

1) Yes. Therefore no need to merge computers.
2) The databases are no problem for the servers, as Matt told us. It would only be a loss of information, but no win on the throughput side.

As Greybeard said, your total credit is all the work you've done, regardless of the computer.
I believe the credit totals are kept for the user and the host separately and independantly. So when you delete an inactive host, the total is still good.

Thanks for the answer, I'll ignore this part of the profile then.
I tend to change PC's and hardware/software, hence the variation in operating systems. Hopefully W64 will be faster running Seti so I can leave this setup for a while
