my question is, when the classic SETI@home will be end ? Look at Matt Lebofsky's post here: At this point we're basically just waiting on the latest release of BOINC, which includes newer user-friendly features (like not having to deal with an account key). This should make transitioning over from Classic even easier. MJ ![]() |

If one was to sum all the various discussions up into one easy sentence, I think it would look something like this: "It will end when it ends. Not before then & certainly not after. We will let you know when the 'end in nigh.' It will not be any time soon. Then again, it might be. Until then, continue what you are doing." I.E., end it will, but there are other issues that need addressing first, and the time frame to address these other issues is not known, yet. I care not either way. I Do Boinc, and it makes me happy. Others do classic, and it makes them happy. Crunch away, the future will come when it comes. Not before, and not after. When it arrives, it will probably take us all by surprise. {edit, spelling} ![]() Foamy is "Lord and Master". (Oh, + some Classic WUs too.) |
