Hello,
I just installed the latest version of BOINC and the total credit is 0, although the old SETI@home is still running and it shows 3347 units in 42136 hours. How can this be fixed?

Thanks,
Costan

By using the activation form.

Then in your Seti Account it will show all units done up until the 15th of March 2005.

It was a snapshot made of the Seti Classic database on the 15th of March 2005. Seti/Boinc cannot update the Classic database in realtime, as the whole Classic database needs to be offline to make a snapshot. So the next and last update will be done once Classic shuts down.

You start from zero credits in Seti/Boinc. Read this FAQ in the Wiki on that. The credits in Classic aren't compatible with the credits in Boinc. So the old ones won't be added to the new ones, ever.

Thanks, Ageless. That cleared it up.
