A perfect picture! Who ever dreamed of it just a couple of weeks ago?

It would be a lot sweeter if I did not have 51 pending ... of course I only went back 500 results (down to ones and twos by then) for my 8 computers...

One of my hosts delayed communication with seti for some reason so it had a whole bunch (10ish) work units all ready to report. I performed a manual update then went to the web site and by the time I found them they had all been granted credit. yay! Of course because of the delayed reporting most of them were the #4 result to be reported. But still :)

A thing of beauty it is! I've been admiring the stats for a couple of days. Now if we could get the member stats fixed I'll be as happy as a Lark! Thanks for all the hard work!

Sorry to put a bit of a damper on this unfettered, congratulatory, everything is perfect parade, but please remember that the file storage they have added to the up/download server recently is just a temporary measure and contains old drives that are likely to have a high failure rate.

Yes things are looking good at the moment and that is great to see but it doesnt mean that things are going to stay great for long.

There could easilly be a nasty grinding sound any second as a drive dies and the whole raid array goes into slow mo to rebuild the array or falls over totally.

True enough, but at least the theory of how to manage a project this big has proven sound and when new equipment is available they know how to arrange it. It's still good news, because we can look forward to just as good numbers with new equipment when installed.
