I have recieved about 25 downloads for a 2 day setting, which I am suspending (can't upload). Usually the uploads go right away?!?!? Since the 30th of August 2005, the Boinc servers went back up. Seti Classic has been taken down for now to accomodate the amount of traffic the servers are getting from all Boinc clients out there. This should be turned back in a couple of days. Since there are a lot of computers out there trying to upload their work and download new work, things will be congested. Have patience for uploading/downloading work. If you don't mind doing some other work at this moment, there's a whole host of other projects out there that you can attach to. Use Boincstats as a guideline. It links to those projects that are Up & Running. Although only Einstein, LHC, SZTAKI, CPDN and Predictor have work at this moment. I've been having similar problems with uploading (I've got 2 fully complete projects waiting for upload, one since early this morning). I disagree, We've had down times before, but this time the uploads are not holding their connection! I've uploaded the same file probably 20 times, it goes to 100% then "hangs" for a minute or two then goes to retry. This is different. All my WUs have finally uploaded, now I've completed other WU's and they are also "hanging"! All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. This is the first completed uploads in several days. The remaining work units are still failing after repeated attempts with an error message -106. The downloads from SETI are very slow compared to Einstein.
