I have recently updated my profile but when people search for my name they are linked to my old un updated profile when searching with google. How do i change this because i do not want my old profile on google anymore?

That's a prob of google, not of BOINC or Seti BOINC...

All search machines have serious backlogs in searching the ever increasing web. It'll work itself out one day. But that can take longer...
I don't think that you can do much about it.
