Ok so I just updated my SETI Classic client to this new BOINC thing... I'm now running BOINC and have that SETI@Home in my projects list but it keeps saying in the message window: 30.6.2005 23:11:42|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi 30.6.2005 23:11:42|SETI@home|Requesting 8640 seconds of work, returning 0 results 30.6.2005 23:11:43|SETI@home|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded 30.6.2005 23:11:43|SETI@home|No work from project 30.6.2005 23:11:44|SETI@home|Deferring communication with project for 1 minutes and 40 seconds keeps going and going?!?!? How can I fix this? |

The servers have had a bad couple of days and right now there is no work to send out. Maybe tomorrow? Help and BOINC documentation is available here. |

i just stumbled over this boinc thing. have the same problem. but my old seti client is still running and downloading WU's when i start it. so maybe the problem lies elsewhere? That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die. |

You should also uninstall the Classic SETI once the servers are back up and you can get work from BOINC. The old client runs with a higher priority than the new BOINC client and it will never get any CPU cycles if they are both allowed to run at the same time. |

i just kept the old client in case. but i disabled it. so if BOINC is maybe not mine i easily can jump back. That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die. |

The BOinc Seti servers are fully back online and you should retrieve new work from there. They may be a bit slow, but they're responding. |
