Personal background
I am from Pecos, Tx. Its the smallest, crappiest town you can ever visit but its home to the shale gas boom now and its where memories have formed for my current brain. I now live in Odessa, Tx which is 1 hour away. I was working for the oil field but have recently quit my job to work a normal 8 hour job so I can go back to school and actually use my brain instead of being a robot loading trucks. I am 24 years old and my hobbies are playing and recording music. I like to play all the instruments and record everything myself on my Ipad. My interest for science and the big KWESHTUN of life have been growing. I feel like I am just being born again as far as trying to get up to speed with knowledge is concerned. And finally my wonderful girlfriend Angelica is the light at the end of my tunnel, seeing the same beautiful and infinite universe the way I see it. I am here to gain more knowledge about science, and wanting to expand my mind, my way of thinking, everything.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am running this program because I truly believe that there has to be other life out there. But I think though that if there are other beings they are 1. only just as advanced as we are if they are only living on a planet and B. If their really intelligent then they have mastered all physics and dimensions. I don't think I can suggest anything about this site, I'm hooked to this place already and I just started. Its a great thing SETI is doing and should have the help of everyone else that has a desktop computer that just sits there. The more powerful and sensitive our satellites are, the better.
