Personal background
I was born and raised in Missoula, MT - coincidentally (?) the "Big Sky".

I remember watching the moon landing in 1969 and ever since then I've been hooked on space. Carl Sagan's Cosmos opened my mind to the idea of life on other planets. Since then, I've always been convinced there has to be other life out there; the sheer size of the universe, the numbers of stars and of course the billions of planets that inhabit just our Milky Way Galaxy alone is enough to convince me life is abundant, in many forms, we just have to find it.

Current I work in IT support; I'm a ceramic artist, amateur film-maker and a wanna-be-scientist!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm running Seti@Home so I can be a part of the grand adventure, I can't think of a discovery that would be more amazing than confirmation of life developing on another planet.

I'm very curious of how the confirmation of life on another planet will affect life on THIS planet. Since I'm already convince it exists, I don't think it will affect me as much as it will other people who may not have given it much thought.

I'm thrilled to be even a tiny part of this amazing, momentous, and incredible project. Thanks for letting me feel like I'm a part of something very profound indeed!
