Personal background
Since I was a little kid I have been excited about the universe and all the wonders that were revealed to us about it. I have been captured by Carl Sagan's poetic view of our place in the universe. But it was my father to whom I owe my first approach to science and who is responsible of my current way of thinking.

I am a civil engineer with a master degree in environmental and energy engineering, although when I was a cild I wanted to be an astronomer. Perhaps my vision was too narrow when it came the time to decide my career, since I thought I was in the wrong contry to study such a wonderful career.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
For me, Drake's Ecuation makes a lot of sense. Hence I am convinced Seti is a
program that worth our support in any way. I run Seti@home for several reason, but i guess one can resume all of them: It makes me part of the most exciting search the human kind has even done.
