Hey folks,
I'm a German student of ancient history and Anglistics and have been with Seti@home since 2001. Recently I found the profile of an old school friend, whom I haven't seen for over 12 years now. He always was a computer geek and look at his profile (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/view_profile.php?userid=165097) now he even studies IT. ;)
It's the same with me. I always was a history nerd and now I'm aiming for my MA.
Why I tell this? No idea, but it shows how small the world is. That\\s why I participate in SETI. Earth is small, let's discover what\\'s out there, beyond that Oort Cloud.
