| About myself: I am retired from the U.S. military after 18.5 yrs of service. I currently reside in Nebraska. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I choose to run SETI because I believe in life in the universe, and that it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s out there waiting for us to show them that we have grown enough to accept them for who they are. I can only hope that that day will come in my lifetime (as futile as that may or may not be)!
In order for humanity to learn and better itself, humanity MUST continue to \\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Discover\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'. In order for discovery to continue we must continue projects like SETI. I can only hope that when that day does come, that the meeting will be of a joint endeavor of discovery and not one of mistrust.
As of March 17th, I have crossed the 30k mark, under the new BOINC!!! Sure would be nice to have someone (or more) to enjoy the accomplishments with!!?? Anybody care to take up the gauntlet with me?? |
