| I am a 50 year old government worker. I enjoy astronomy and playing with computers. I was a big Star Trek and X-Files fan, so Seti@Home had a natural attraction for me. I've built computers specifically to do this. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I guess I run Seti@Home because I can't help myself, the idea that my computer could be the one to analyze The Signal is irresistible.
In the vastness of the universe, I can't believe we are the only ones in it. But with the laws of physics as we understand them, others are either too far away to travel here or they are already here and know how to stay under our radar.
I think we should keep looking every way we know how. I really want to know the answer to things. I just hope when we find them or they find us, they don't want to eat us or enslave us. |
