| I live in West Central Ohio, currently work as a substitute teacher. I dabble in beekeeping, beermaking , amateur radio (Call Sign KC6NLX). I'm also gaining experience with my newest activity - kayaking. I have recently achieved 3rd-kyu grade in kendo. I have a 16 foot day-touring kayak that I've had on the water only a few times. I study kendo to keep in shape although I'm nowhere near what my weight was while I was in the Navy (22-1/2 years). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Because I am interested in the search for extraterrestrial life and I believe it is a worthwhile use of my computer's resources.
2. I hope we're successful in finding extraterrestrial life. I know that for many people, that will be a problem with their religious beliefs, but even the Vatican has endorsed space travel and the search for life. A far cry from the persecution suffered by such pioneers as Galileo and Copernicus. |
