I am a software consultant doing custom code to automate Excel/Access with VB6 code to print and generate data for bar code printers.
I have a heavy background in EE and automating computer electronic testing for the production line, designing interface hardware between systems then doing the code. I have worked on and repaired systems from core memory min systems with paper tape to custom controllers.
One hobby is running a free fan site for Janette Littledove, I also do golf, fishing, farm work.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run seti because I want the phase to end, since I see little hope of this approach finding much ET's.
I would prefer that if approaches that have so little hope in its primary objective could get some other science done as a by-product.
I would prefer we do something that would look closer to home for visitors since we have a better chance of finding something.
How about a cheap way to use the surplus BIG satellite dishes and/or smaller dishes to do a distributed radar project with 1,000 of dishes and millions of home computers doing the data filtering.
