Same problem here, no WU's.

I am also running Climateprediction project so I am not setting idle now.

Also Bonic with Climateprediction and Seti Classic will split CPU time and let both run ~50%.

I would like to say I am sorry for this mess.

I miss read 2 different stat pages, and since my CPDN wu is no where near finished I assumed I had no stats for that project and really never looked for them. So when 2 stat pages came up when I found 2 stat pages I just ASSUMED they were both Seti stat pages.

SORRY.

This did answer my question.

I just missed seeing that this was a stat page for 2 different projects.

I was convinced I had 2 different Bonic-Seti stat pages with 2 different user ID's.

Yes I know the CPDN has nothing to do with my question, I did not ask about it.

4819 is a user ID, that lists 2 of my CPU's. Each has 2 projects. That ID has nothing to do with CPDN, but is a Bonic ID.

http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/boinc-stats_cpdn.php?id=4819

Sorry, this is not a 2 project question, it is about 2 Bonic ID's that could have up to 5 projects each when all come on line.

Yes uninstalling and starting from scratch was always the LAST choice. I knew that before asking. I was wondering if there was or will be a better option. I would prefer to keep 2 screwed up accounts before starting over.

I don't want to lose 8486 total credits just because I have an extra account that I should not have been able to create.

I am not using either account. I can't decide to stop one or the other since those ID's are not assigned to discrete CPU's. Each account gets some credit from all CPU's.

I also have 5 years worth of credit on Seti Classic that is suppose to be transfered sometime. I was in the top ~99.69%. SO if I start over I will loose that too.

Points.
1. I should not have been allowed 2 ID's to the same email. This should be fixd in code and new user directions.

2. Bonic code should combine (or allow the user to combine) ID's assigned to the same email. It currently allows you to combine CPU's that have the same hardware.

> You CANNOT combine accounts! You CAN stop using BOTH accounts and sign up for

I tried and I can't access my 4819 ID account info, SO I can't chage anything there. Yes team Art Bell was my old team.

I am really not concerned with team credit, just combining my 2 user ID's.

Yes, I know I made a bo-bo. This was during a time when Bonice was down more offen than not so I was not sure if it was my setup or the project.

ALSO the directions and Bonic should have been plainer and should not allow 2 ID's for one email.

How do I know which account or PC to detach? Each CPU is giving credit to both user ID's?

Since I made this mistake, others have too. SO I am asking if we can add the feature to combine user ID's like we can now merge CPU's.

Yes each computer runs 2 projects, Seti and Climate Prediction. Remember when we had no WU's to do? I am not asking to combine the different projects, just Seti credit for my 3 computers on 2 seperate user ID's (16457 & 4819)

I run Seti on each 66% of the time. But that is not the problem.

I do have 3 home computers, 185478 (dual CPU system), 179211, and 106565. THe last one is the one that has been down for 2-3 weeks.

Ok, I can see how an old PC is still getting credit.

Thanks for the attempt.

I logged out of my Seti/Bonic user preferences, relogged on, and had them send me another log-on number. Since I used my base email address, they should have send ALL numbers attached to that email. I only got one number so I can not modify my second ID.

I also looked at my CPU info and merged one CPU that was listed two times. We need the same function to merge two ID's.

You missed the point. Or did not look at the links.

3 PC's, at least 2 ID's both collecting credit for some recent credit. The 933 MHz CPU has not run in 2 weeks and it still has recent credit.

I want to add the JimHollandJr (id=4819) credits to the other (id=16457
).

Both are getting recent credit from both of my current PC's and one is getting credit from a CPU that has not run in weeks. If I reset one PC which one would I reset?

The base ID is my email that I joined with, why would it allow multiple accounts attached to the same address? This sounds like a bug in Bonic.

I will try this again. I hope I can provide all the info I left out of my 1st attempt.

I have 3 home computers (on has been down for weeks).
When I set up my account(s) I signed up as JimHollandJr@yahoo.com for all machines. I later changed my profile to provide a hyper link to a free fan club I run "Janette Littledove".

The problem is I have at least two seperate accounts that are both taking recent credits from all my CPU, even the one that has been down for 2 weeks.

Please look at both links to this 3rd party stat site to see if any details there help.

http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/boinc-stats.php?id=16457
http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/boinc-stats_cpdn.php?id=4819

How can I combine these ID's credits?
How can I find other (if any) ID's I have?

How I was able to do this may explain many other credit related problems.

no, you missed my point.

I currently have 2 running computer (one died). Each has Seti and climate prediction projects. BUT the two projects is not my question.

Did you look at those two links? The stats for my 2(3) computers show up under 2 different seti ID's. These are the stats that need to be combined.

I don't know how I did that, but how I was able to screw up setting up my account to do this may be the source of many other problems with credit issues that others have. I am sure I used the same email address when I set up all my computers.

then I found my other stats at
http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/boinc-stats_cpdn.php?id=4819

both are showing recent credit for the 2 PC's I still have running. The PC that has not run in weeks show recent credit.

I just read some stuff here and think this problem by be behind many others with credit/download problems.

Thanks.

I almost suggested setting the ratio to ~99% for the long term project, but then I saw that the climateprediction had loaded a second work unit and had done some work on that. So I know it does not finish what it started before starting another.

I have Bonic on 2 home computers, one is a dual CPU AMD 2800 system.

It worked fine when I only had Seti running (2 WU's processing). Now I added the other Bonic project, it's WU takes ~ 800-900 hours to complete each.

I set the multiple projects sharing to the default 100/100. This lets either 2 seti WU's to run OR 1 seti and one ClimatePrediction WU to run.

I want one seti WU to run on one CPU full time, and the other CPU to get the ClimatePrediction WU full time.

Is there any way to set each CPU to 100% to each project?
