Thanks for the link, Blurf. The table means my Parsons Russell is now older than 50 human years. But, the table did not go up to the 19 years our little old West Highland White terrier lived for. |

On the BBC 10.00pm News I thought the Duke of Edinburg looked really good. He walked straight and was jaunty, especially for his age. |

Maybe not, but this area has Bob Cats and Mountain Lions(Pumas), either one could do the deed. Vic we have cats, not Cougars or Mountain Lions or Bob Cats. The nearest is a Scottish Wild Cat which would easily dispatch a pheasant ... |

What's new about SETI@home v7
(Message 1381588)
Posted 3 days ago by John Clark
I have 4 PC's running Seti@home: i7 Quad Core Win7-64 at 100% does most of the work. I have over 17 million units credit. When I upgraded all PC's to Ver 7, my user average output began dropping immediately from over 21,000/day to less than 12,000 a day and still dropping. Looks like it will end up about 1/2 my old daily output. Every machine is running slower. Should I go back to the last version before Ver 7? Assuming you are running Win OS on your PC. Could the fall away be due to the MS security updates sent for install on 12/06/2013? I found, on another project, my crunch times rose by over 25%, and this occurred on 2 separate AMD GPUs under 2 different Win OSs (XP pro x86 and Win 7 x64). I rolled the Win 7 PC back to 01/06/2013 and the crunch times of the project WUs are restored to the pre 12/06 security updates. |
